As mentioned in my last update, the next step in the process will involve the campus community. WittKieffer, the consultant that is aiding the search, is hosting a series of listening sessions to learn more about the qualities and characteristics you would like to see in SUNY Brockport’s 8 th President.
These sessions began yesterday with the Senate Executive Board and today with Facilities; they will continue next week with other groups, including students and alumni. There will be two open sessions for faculty and two open sessions for staff. All sessions will be held on Zoom. Please register at the links below:
Staff Listening Session I
1-1:45 pm, Dec. 2
Staff Listening Session II
9:30-10:15 am, Dec. 3
Faculty Listening Session I
12-12:45 pm, Dec. 4
Faculty Listening Session II
1-2 pm, Dec. 5
If you are unable to attend one of these open sessions, there will still be an opportunity to ensure your voice is heard through a community survey that will be administered by WittKieffer in the coming weeks. The committee values your input and thanks you, in advance, for your participation.
Finally, a Presidential Search website has been established to serve as a clearinghouse for all information related to the search. It will be updated throughout this process as more information becomes available.
Thank you for your continued engagement as we embark on this important process.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
