Enrollment Management Newsletter - Issue 12 2025-2026 - Updated

Tuesday, December 2, 2025

Enrollment Management Team,

As we approach the final stretch of the semester, I hope you were able to recharge a bit and connect with family and friends over the break last week. I know there are a lot of demands on our time right now, and I hope you might be able to carve out some time to attend the Campuswide Holiday Party on December 9th at 3:30pm in the Seymour Union Ballroom, so we can celebrate our successful semester together.

We have another chance for our division to gather on February 13th, at the Women’s Basketball game from 5:30-7pm, the Men’s Basketball game from 7:30-9:00pm, and the Hockey Game from 7-8:45pm. You and your families are invited to the VIP seating area with appetizers provided by 58 Main BBQ at 7pm at the Hockey game. A big thank you to the Athletics staff for coordinating and hosting our division for this event.

Welcome to our new staff who have joined SUNY Brockport in the past few months:

  • Elizabeth Sherwood, Athletics Office Assistant
  • Joseph Quattrone, Head Strength & Conditioning Coach
  • Suzanna Sylcox, Athletic Trainer
  • Zach Dunbar, Athletic Trainer

Please join me in congratulating Kim Duquette, Associate Registrar, who recently retired after 21 years of service. Kim will stay part time to assist with the staffing transition in Registration & Records. We also wish Joyce Helf a happy retirement as of mid-December, after 25 years of service in Transfer Services.

Staff Recognition Program

Every May, we recognize our Enrollment Management staff at an End of Year Celebration, which includes an awards program. Please consider nominating colleagues; nominees and winners will be recognized at the event. Choose a category below and provide 5-10 bullets of information on the person, program, or campus partner you think is worthy of the award. Reminders will go out regularly, and nominations are due by March 15th. For questions, contact Thomas Chew.

The award categories are: Outstanding Administrative Support, Soaring New Professional, E.M. Innovator, E.M. EDI Champion, Unsung Hero, Outstanding Program, Campus Partner, and E.M. M.V.P.
