Dear Campus Community,

Welcome to 2026 and a busy year for your Presidential Search Committee. I hope you all had a pleasant semester break. The committee is poised to hit the ground running as we embark on the intensive part of the selection process.

Advertising for the position began informally in December and formally on January 5th. The last day to apply is March 5. Our search consultant, WittKieffer, will be in town next week for a campus visit and search committee meeting. The visit will begin at REOC and move to campus for a tour and meetings. At the search committee meeting, WittKieffer will brief the committee on the developing pool of candidates. The interested expressed in the opportunity has been very positive to date.

March and April will be very busy months for the search committee as we review candidate materials, select the most promising for first round interviews, and select up to five finalists for on-campus visits using the interview model that I shared in my December 12 update.

I will provide our next update shortly after next week’s search committee meeting.
