President’s Newsletter

Dear Colleagues:

This newsletter is going out early because I will be in New York City tomorrow and Friday for alumni and advancement events. We have an Alumni and Friends event on Thursday, and our quarterly Foundation Board meeting on Friday, at which point we’ll update the board on our campaign fundraising as well as other topics.

Other external events this week included a meeting with the CEO of Willow, a Willow Executive Committee meeting and a United Way meeting. I also met with the new president of Purchase College.

Internally I met with three cabinet members, attended the Senate Executive Committee, and took part in our regular UUP Labor Management meeting.

Spring Break is nearly here! I hope you get a chance next week to take a break, get some downtime, and gear up for the second half of the semester. I hope to spend time preparing for some upcoming speaking engagements, including Mornings with the Professors and our upcoming Community Breakfast. I will also be attending United Way, Willow and Rotary events. I will not be sending a message out over Spring Break.

Don’t forget to vote for Ellsworth in Round One of Mascot Madness! It was fun to win the competition two years ago, and it would be nice to do so again.
