Dear Golden Eagles,
The Office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion would like to invite faculty, staff, and students to submit proposals for the 23rd Annual Diversity Conference, Uniting Communities for an Inclusive Brockport, held on Wednesday, April 2, 2025. Using an equity, diversity and inclusion framework, this year’s conference will expand on current efforts to Build a Better Brockport. Specifically, conference participants will have the opportunity to engage in workshops and discussions about bridging the divides between members of our community, to be a more inclusive University that fosters a strong sense of belonging for all its members.
The Call for Proposals ends on Friday, February 14. Proposals can be submitted via Mach Form.
We want to highlight a couple of points to make the proposal submission process smooth:
- Student presenters must co-present with a faculty/staff member.
- Presentations, roundtables, and panel discussions will be considered.
- Proposals should reflect the conference theme.
- Sessions should be 45 to 75 minutes long, including time for Q&A.
If you have any questions, please email the Diversity Conference.
Kind regards,
|
