Criminal Justice offers a dynamic, interdisciplinary approach to society’s understanding and applications of justice, control, punishment, rehabilitation, and restoration. Our graduates enjoy their careers within policing and law enforcement, courts, corrections, forensics, private security, victim services, adult and juvenile services, and other human service organizations in related fields. We provide an up-to-date, multivocal curriculum developing critical thinking to address criminal justice issues and policies. SUNY Brockport Criminal Justice has been recognized multiple times as the #1 in New York State for career opportunities.

ATTEND Undergraduate Research & Internship Day
CONSIDER the Leadership Development program

Students begin developing a professional demeanor, learning career options, and participating in activities relevant to the discipline/profession.

LOOK for a volunteer or shadowing experience relevant to Criminal Justice (police, courts, corrections, crime victim service, juvenile advocacy centers, etc.)
