IMSVI

The Institute of Movement Studies for Individuals with Visual Impairments

At IMSVI, we believe those with visual impairments can and should be given the same opportunities as sighted people to get out, get active, socialize, and try new things such as hiking, soccer, and even kayaking!

About Us

The Institute of Movement Studies and Visual Impairment (IMSVI) builds on SUNY Brockport’s rich history in the field of Adapted Physical Education and enables the University and the Department of Kinesiology, Sport Studies, and Physical Education to showcase and develop further its accomplishments in research, educational offerings, and programming.
