Interim Vice President News from Jim Wall
Considerable time has been spent over the past few weeks regarding the 5-year model update. The structural deficit for the campus is moving in the right direction (lowering) but there is still considerable work to be completed over the summer regarding closing the financial gap and establishing divisional targets. There are several summer facility projects being scheduled and significant effort is underway regarding office moves (thanks, Stasia Molyneux!). Brockport Information Technology Services is working on a campuswide wireless upgrade. Mike Baird and Bill McGorray did a great job this week sharing Facilities Planning and Construction project updates with the JPBC. Please join me in welcoming Julie Letourneau and Christine Walterick to our Procurement Department. Regarding the summer work schedule, Human Resources has communicated the employee guidelines and approval process. There is always a lot of activity within the Division of Administration and Finance. Thank you for all of your efforts!
A&F Division Edward J. Kumar Scholarship Winners for 2024-25!
The following four SUNY Brockport students (who have a relative in the A&F Division) were selected by the A&F Division Edward J. Kumar Scholarship Committee to each receive a $1,000 Scholarship Award toward their 2024-25 academic year, due to their outstanding achievements and community involvement – congratulations to them all!:

Facilities Planning and Construction welcomes their newest Facility Project Manager, Thomas Mourhess, to the team! Tom started April 29 and comes to us with decades of experience in the field of architectural and construction management. He enjoys traveling and fishing on his bass boat in his spare time.
