- We are through Spring Break and Commencement is seven weeks from today!!!! Wow!
- What a nice celebration of Joanne Kershner’s retirement yesterday. Thanks to Melissa, John S., Garrett, and all for pulling everything together. We hope to be able to share the name of the successful candidate to replace Joanne in the coming week or so.
- Great job by SO MANY on the launch of the Day of Giving. We are rolling already – well ahead of 2024’s pace – with the big push still about 10 days away. Kudos to the team on all of the fantastic communication thus far. Keep up the energy!
- Friday, April 25, will be a busy day with the ribbon-cutting for the Brockport Brand Builders space in Hartwell in the morning, and the Honors & Awards Ceremony and the President’s Donor Recognition Celebration (PDRC) later in the day. The latter two events will be in the Seymour Union Ballroom. Garrett, Dan, and the team are relying on many members of the team to assist, so thank you in advance.
- Two leftover reminders from last month:
- The Employee Assistance program (EAP) has been greatly enhanced through a new partnership with Higher Ed EAP. The service provides great resources on hundreds of topics. It is available to everyone at Higher Education EAP | ESI Employee Assistance Group.
- Ten alumni will be returning to campus on Scholars Day for a series of panels at 3:00 and 4:15 pm related to their careers in the sports industry. Two of our faculty and Thad Brown from Channel 8 will serve as moderators for the sessions. Here are three links with more info:
