Description
The Criminal Justice minor provides students with an introduction to the structure, function, and policies of the criminal justice system, including law enforcement, the courts, and corrections. The program explores the prevention and control of crime through the study of criminological theory, justice administration, and current issues facing the field. Students examine core components of the system—policing, judicial processes, and correctional practices—while developing a foundational understanding of how these institutions operate and interact. A range of elective courses allows students to tailor the minor to their individual interests and career goals, offering exposure to specialized topics within the criminal justice discipline.
