Alcohol/Drugs in a College Community

The Brockport Well-Being Coalition

Coalition Mission

The Coalition seeks to deploy a variety of strategies addressing public health issues that impact the overall culture and well-being on the SUNY Brockport campus and within the Village of Brockport. Focus areas will include but are not limited to basic needs insecurity, alcohol and/or drug abuse or misuse, sexual and gender-based violence and hazing prevention. Alcohol/drugs are problematic in all communities but become acute in college communities where the density of young adults without parental supervision can result in impaired decision-making and poor outcomes.

Coalition Vision

A safe, healthy, prosperous community.
