Brockport faculty and staff play an important role in encouraging our students to participate in meaningful experiences abroad. One way you can help motivate students to participate in these transformative experiences is to invite Global Ambassadors into your class or speak at your next event. Global Ambassadors are past Education Abroad participants who are selected by the Center for Global Education and Engagement to promote global learning opportunities to their peers.
The Center for Global Education and Engagement offers customized Education Abroad presentations. Classroom presentations are typically led by Global Ambassadors and can be as short as 5 minutes but typically last 15 minutes. The presentations can be a general overview of Education Abroad or it can be focused on a specific academic concentration. Additionally, Global Ambassadors are available for informational events such as presentations to student clubs, residential halls, academic departments or events for perspective Brockport students.
