The Anthropology Club’s mission is to provide quality experiences in the introduction and exploration of anthropology as a social science by sponsoring open lectures, forums, and activities related to the discipline. The Club endeavors to provide educational experiences for the student body and larger university community as well as opportunities to foster increased interest in the department as a whole. No. Students at any level of experience are welcome. The club is designed to be an inclusive environment where members can learn, ask questions, and explore anthropology together.
The club hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including educational discussions, guest speakers, hands-on activities, creative workshops, social gatherings, and opportunities to learn more about anthropology outside the classroom.
Yes. Students have opportunities to serve as club officers and help organize meetings, events, and activities. Leadership positions allow members to develop communication, teamwork, and event-planning skills while supporting the club’s mission.
