The philosophy major and double-major prepare students for many exciting careers. Our program teaches students to analyze complex lines of reasoning, to use logical reasoning to support a view, to discern how facts bear upon a claim, and to present arguments thoughtfully and persuasively. Philosophy majors are especially well prepared for careers in law, business, teaching, the ministry, and the military. The double-major can help nearly anyone increase their earning potential while becoming a more reflective and well-reasoned individual.
