This year’s theme is, “Uniting our Communities for an Inclusive Brockport,” and will feature Keynote Speaker Rev. Ben McBride. Rev. McBride is a New York Times’ best-selling author, National Leader on Belonging, Atlantic Fellow for Racial Equity, and CEO of the Empower Initiative. The Empower Initiative fosters safer communities and inclusive workplaces with belonging.
The conference is from 9 am to 5:30 pm on Wednesday, April 2 in Seymour Union and features:
- 9:30 am: Welcome Remarks & Feldman Paper Winner Presentation
- 9:50 – 10:50 am: Keynote Speaker: Reverend Ben McBride
- 11 – noon: Concurrent Sessions I
- 11:45 am – 1:15 pm: International Festival
- 1:30 – 3 pm: Annual Malik Lecture, featuring a presentation from Parents Circle-Families Forum
- 3:15 – 4:30 pm: Concurrent Sessions II
- 4:45 – 5 pm: Closing Remarks
- 5 – 5:30 pm: Closing Reception
