Describe your most significant academic accomplishment (research, internship, job placement, leadership, etc.)

“I just recently got a job with Cornell Cooperative Extension of Schenectady County implementing SNAP-Ed curriculum into local schools and being part of a policy, systems, and environmental change committee.”

How has the above experience impacted your future plans?

“While I only started this job recently, it’s exactly where I want to be. For the first time in a while, I can confidentially say that I don’t plan to go anywhere anytime soon.”

What would you tell a future student interested in your field of study?

“Make what you want of it. If you’re interested in a certain area of public health, center your projects, discussion posts, and research around it.”

Tell us a little bit about yourself and why you chose SUNY Brockport?

“I went to another SUNY for undergrad and know very well that they are schools that provide quality education at a decent price. I was living in another state when I decided to return to school, but I saw that this program was 100% online, which came in handy when COVID hit. I was able to work full time and go to school without needing to be anywhere at a specific time.”
