Both articles were invited contributions. The article “Molecular Dynamics Study of the Green Solvent Polyethylene Glycol with Water Impurities “(Molecules 2024, 29(9), 2070; https://doi.org/10.3390/molecules29092070) is an invited contribution to the Special Issue “Green Solvents as Emerging Substitutes: Preparation, Evaluation and Application” and is co-authored by SUNY Brockport alums Matthew Too and Nathaniel Paddock. Matthew has been accepted for a computational chemistry graduate program at University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign. Nathaniel is completing his first year at Rutgers University also in a computational chemistry graduate program.
The article “Structures and Dynamics of Complex Guest Molecules in Confinement, Revealed by Solid-State NMR, Molecular Dynamics, and Calorimetry” (Molecules 2024, 29(7), 1669; https://doi.org/10.3390/molecules29071669) is an invited review article for the Special Issue Gulliver in the Country of Lilliput: An Interplay of Noncovalent Interactions (Volume II).
Both articles are outcomes from an ongoing research collaboration with the Buntkowsky and Vogel Groups at TU-Darmstadt Germany, which has been supported by the German funding agency Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft and the US funding agency National Science Foundation.
