Exercise Science Academic Program Receives Initial Accreditation

The Strength and Conditioning Concentration of the Exercise Science Major has received initial accreditation from the Council on Accreditation of Strength and Conditioning Education (CASCE).

By doing so, they have joined a short list of institutions with this credential.

  • One of only 17 undergraduate programs nationwide
  • First to be accredited in New York State
  • Currently only SUNY institution to receive this credential

The new credential is in addition to previous accreditation received through the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) for the Exercise for Health Promotion Concentration of the Exercise Science Major.
