Bio

Rachel Grzejka (she/they), joins SUNY Brockport as the Case Manager for the Student Behavioral Consultation Team (SBCT), bringing a strong background in non-clinical case management, higher education support services, and student well-being advocacy.

Rachel previously served as Assistant Director of the CARE Network at the University of Rochester, where she provided individualized, strengths-based and solution focused support to students facing academic, personal, and mental health related challenges. Her work emphasized trauma-informed care, cross-departmental collaboration, and equity minded practices.

She holds a Master of Social Work and is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in New York State. In her new role at Brockport, Rachel will manage non-clinical case coordination, support early intervention and prevention efforts, and serve as a key member of the college’s multidisciplinary behavioral intervention team.

The process for referring a student to SBCT has not changed and we encourage you to submit referrals even when you think the matter is not serious enough for this team. Rachel is looking forward to developing new initiatives to better support students struggling with their mental health and overall well-being.
