Bio

Ian Harper began his role as Vice President for Administration and Finance at SUNY Brockport on May 23, 2024.

Prior to joining the team at Brockport, Ian spent 37 years at Xerox in a variety of financial, transformational, and operational roles in Europe and the United States, including Vice President of Finance for Global Operations and Expenses Center of Excellence, Vice President of Finance Transformation, and Vice President of Channel Partner Operations. Ian has experience in managing large, shared services organizations and controlling enterprise-wide financial, human resource, and operational processes.

Ian’s current responsibilities include overseeing the following areas: Facilities Planning and Construction, Facilities Maintenance and Operations, Human Resources and Payroll, Finance and Management, Information Technology Services, and Brockport Auxiliary Services Corporation.

Ian is a Fellow of The Chartered Association of Certified Accountants and lives in Pittsford, NY.
