Program Requirements
Coursework for the Advanced Graduate Certificate in Women and Gender Studies involves one core course in feminist theory, one core course in feminist research methods, and six credits of advanced courses on women and gender across the disciplines. Curriculum sequence is as follows:
Core Certificate Program Requirements (6 Credits)
- One of the following two courses:
- WMS 511 Feminist Research Methods
Two Elective Courses: (6 Credits)
Students may choose elective coursework from graduate departments across the college that address the study of women and gender, courses in the Women and Gender Studies Department, and appropriate directed readings or independent study courses.
