Chiropractors are licensed health care professionals that emphasize the body’s ability to heal itself through treatment that involves manual therapy (including spinal manipulation).

Our 4+3 Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) allows Exercise Science or Kinesiology majors to complete their undergraduate degree while meeting admissions requirements for the DC program at Northeast College of Health Sciences.

Earning your Doctor of Chiropractic at Northeast College

Students must meet specific criteria to receive acceptance at Northeast College of Health Sciences and choose their preferred start date. The program has been accredited through the Council on Chiropractic Education since 1977.

  • 3.0 GPA or greater (on a 4.0 scale)
    • Students who do not maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 from SUNY Brockport, but complete the program with a GPA of 2.75 or better, will receive special consideration for admission to Northeast.
  • Minimum of 24 hours in the life and physical sciences with minimum grades of “C.”

Students graduating from SUNY Brockport and entering Northeast College of Health Sciences with a 3.0-3.499 cumulative GPA will be automatically awarded a $1500 Northeast merit scholarship. Students entering with a 3.5 or higher cumulative GPA will be automatically awarded a $2500 Northeast merit scholarship. These scholarships are non-renewable and dispersed equally between the first and second Northeast trimesters only.
