Description
Athletic administration is a professional leadership role that involves overseeing and managing an organization’s athletics. The MS degree in Athletic Administration leads to employment in a variety of fields including but not limited to:
- Director of Athletics at the Collegiate Level
- Sports Information Director
- Event and Facility Management
- Athletic Compliance and Sport Eligibility
- Budgeting and Finance in Athletics
- Marketing and Media Relations
Admission to the Program
This graduate program is available to students who hold relevant undergraduate degrees, other than physical education, and wish to pursue a career in athletic administration. Such careers include but are not limited to:
- College athletics
- Semi-pro and professional sport
- Youth sport
