Get started on your checklist:
1. Reserve your spot
Once you’ve been accepted, submit your tuition and housing deposits to confirm your enrollment. This will allow you to set up your email, register for classes, and more.
What is the deadline to deposit?
Deposits are fully refundable until May 1 for fall admits and November 1 for spring admits.

3. Review financial aid
Apply for Financial Aid through the FAFSA, if you haven’t already. Log in to Brockportal (see above: how to set up your NetID & password) to accept any “offered” financial aid funding, including your financial aid package.

Request your official AP, IB and/or college transcripts be sent to: Office of Undergraduate Admissions, 350 New Campus Drive, Brockport, NY 14420

3. Housing Deposit & Selection
To pay your housing deposit, log into your Admissions Application Portal. After you pay your housing deposit, you will receive an email with instructions to complete your housing application through the Housing Portal. This is your opportunity to list your preferences, including who you’d like to room with (if you have a roommate in mind).
Exchange students: Your housing deposit will be waived automatically. Once you receive your acceptance letter from Brockport, use your NetID and password to log into the Residential Life Online Housing Portal.
Here are the instructions to access your new student checklist to prepare for your graduate studies:
- Log into the application status portal
- Click the “New Student Checklist” tab
- Complete the checklist tasks
- Click and submit the acknowledgment at the bottom of the page
