Accelerated Degree in School Counseling

Save time and money with our accelerated MSEd in School Counseling.

Our accelerated program is designed for current undergraduate addictions and behavioral health majors with intent to matriculate into our MSEd in School Counseling Program.

When qualified Brockport undergraduate addiction and behavioral health major students are admitted to this accelerated program, they will take up to 12 graduate credits of coursework in school counseling— all at the undergraduate tuition rate.

Program eligibility

After consulting with their faculty advisor or department chair, undergraduate addictions and behavior health students with a minimum 3.0 overall GPA who meet eligibility requirements would qualify for application to the MSEd Accelerated Program via Brockport’s Graduate Admissions Application in the fall or spring of their junior year.

  • Please include contact information for three faculty members in Brockport’s Department of Healthcare Studies.
  • Statement of objectives

Application deadline

For best consideration, applications should be submitted in your junior year.

  • April 15 for the fall semester
  • November 15 for the spring semester
