1:30 PM – 2:30 PM – TEAMS Meeting

- Call to Order
- Scott Haines brought the meeting to order at 1:31 PM.
- Dyamon Hunter took over the meeting and started with introductions.
- Hazing Education Training
- 406 students have completed the training.
- 26 Club Sports
- Over 802 registered for a team. Some play on more than one team.
- Pickleball will be starting in the spring.
- Probably will be losing ski and snow-board.
- Intramural Updates
- Working with an LLC Thursday night special events.
- 1 IM Team invited to participate in the Regional Flag Football Championship in Maryland.
- Flooring Repairs
- Western NY Flooring came in last week to look at what needed repair and do a report for the Fieldhouse and Fitness Center.
- Facilities and Planning is aware of Lobby flooring issues.
- Water Leaks
- Behind the spine in the Ice Arena, water on top level of spine around glass, and east side of Fieldhouse. Happens when we get inclement weather from the south and southwest.
- Budget – Revenue is increasing compared to last year for both student fee and other revenue.
- No student fee increase for years. New students are offsetting the minimum wage increase.
- Swipes 48,763 (22) vs 57,760 (23) – 18% increase
- Membership sales and extra income from Ice Arena.
- More active participation in facility due to Open Rec. usage.
- New Equipment – Delivered Wednesday – More is being ordered.
- New platforms didn’t fit, so not all were installed.
- Colors of pads on machine are incorrect, so working on getting that corrected. Waited a year for machine, so happy it is here.
- Sue wanted the equipment for KSSPE, but 10-12 years old. One machine had a smashed screen. We are able to trade some of the old equipment in for a small discount.
- 99 Student Employees
- Other Items/Questions
- Another meeting will be scheduled for late January or early February specific to budget. Last meeting to wrap up will be in April.
- Kate asked if Men’s or Women’s Flag Football Team were invited. It was Men’s and they decided not to attend. Women’s team will hopefully be up and running in spring.
