The Graduate Counselor Graduate Diversity Fellow will serve as a student-centered, support-focused position within the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) at SUNY Brockport. This fellow will be responsible for providing comprehensive academic, career, financial, and personal counseling to a caseload of approximately 15 students from historically underrepresented and underserved backgrounds. The role offers a unique opportunity to engage in the holistic development of students through one-on-one advising and active participation in the planning and execution of student engagement activities. The fellow will also play a vital role in the SOAR Program (Strategies for Overcoming Academic Roadblocks) and assist in facilitating PASS (Peer-Assisted Study Sessions) to support students’ academic success.
