Q: Most helpful Brockport people?
A: The tutors at the Academic Success Center and the faculty genuinely show that they care about my success. Everything I’ve experienced at Brockport so far has made me incredibly grateful that I chose to
attend here.
Q: Advice for success?
A: Sometimes we hold ourselves back from being the best version of ourselves out of fear of failure to the point that we do not try. Instead of hoping to be that person, try to start thinking and acting like that person today.
Q: Most influential Brockport people?
A: The most influential people at Brockport are Grace Olaosebikan, Masengesho Irasubiza, and Esther Nankumba. These three strong Black women have been my support system since I arrived on campus three years ago, inspiring me daily to be my best, kind to myself, and give my all. They embody dedication, education, and goodness, and I can’t imagine my journey without them.
Q: How has Brockport impacted you?
A: Brockport has changed my life in a way that I would never have thought possible. It didn’t just offer me opportunities; it also became a second home. The people here have truly been some of the greatest blessings I’ve ever had.
