Katelyn Cyganovich

In January, SUNY Brockport’s Alpha Chi chapter nominated Katelyn Cyganovich for an Alpha Chi Honors Society Sledge/Benedict Fellowship to support her first year of graduate study at the University of Buffalo School of Law.

Sledge/Benedict Fellows are selected primarily on the basis of a work of undergraduate research. Katelyn’s investigated how different visual perspectives (i.e. the angle from which one looks at an apologizer) influence how authentic apologies are perceived to be. This research question is derived from previous social psychological research on visual salience and the camera perspective bias.
