Dr. Afeez A. Hazzan, Ph.D., associate professor and interim chair in the department of health care studies at the State University of New York at Brockport’s College of Education & Health, says leadership development programs play a critical role in preparing professionals to adapt to change, think strategically and lead with empathy.
