Q: How has Brockport shaped your career trajectories?

A: Brockport has greatly influenced my career path. My professors have been
instrumental in helping me secure meaningful internship opportunities where I’ve gained firsthand experience and gotten a head start in my broadcast media career.

Q: What’s a moment from the past year you’re most proud of?

A: I am incredibly proud of BSG for the way we advocate for students and work to protect their voices. This year showed me that our voices truly matter, and that when we come together and speak up with purpose, we can create real change.

Q: Who made your Brockport experience better this year?

A: My friends made my Brockport experience even better this year. Even with a busy schedule balancing classes, work, and internships, spending time with them on the weekends helps me unwind and appreciate the small moments in life.

Q: Lessons from this year:

A: This academic year taught me the importance of believing in myself.

The responsibilities of serving as President of BSG were overwhelming at times, but I learned to trust my abilities and ask for support when needed. I’ve realized that anything is possible when you lead with heart and confidence.

Q: Why do you love Brockport?

A: I am incredibly grateful for the people I’ve met at Brockport, and they are the reason I love this place so much.

My professors, professional staff, and the amazing friends I’ve made along the way have shaped the most meaningful college experience I could have asked for.
