Bio

I have a passion for teaching and after relocating to the Rochester area in 2006, I have taught at SUNY Brockport and RIT while also pursuing interests in climate action and politics. My experience in education, advocacy, business, and politics enhances the curriculum by highlighting real-world applications of course materials.

I have worked on environmental advocacy at the local, state, and federal level; co-founded a climate action advocacy non-profit and co-founded and managed a small business that implemented community-wide renewable electricity purchasing programs.  I also served on the Monroe County Climate Action Plan Advisory Committee and was elected to the Monroe County Legislature in January 2022.
