About the Committee

The American College Health Association (ACHA) recommends leveraging the power of cross-campus collaborations to foster a holistic, integrated approach for creating a culture of wellbeing for healthier environments. SUNY Brockport recognized numerous wellbeing improvement efforts occurring across the campus and developed this steering committee to optimize the use of wellbeing resources and to enhance collaboration and outcomes of these efforts. 

Mission & Goals

The purpose of this committee is to enhance the experiences of students, faculty, and staff by recommending best practice to inform programs and services that support the overall well-being of the campus community.

Committee members designated from across campus to represent key areas that interact with students, but also represent staff and faculty.

The student member shall be: 

  • The BSG President or Vice President or designee

Method of Appointment

  • Department representation listed in Charter
  • All members will serve for two years. May serve more than two years with committee reappointment annually.
