Description
The Addictions and Behavioral Health Minor provides you with knowledge in addiction studies and prepares you for working with individuals who may be affected by substance use disorders. Our program is certified by both the New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS) and the Association for Addiction Professionals (NAADAC).

Minor Requirements (18 Credits)
Required Core Courses (9 credits)
- HCS 409 Introduction to Alcohol and Other Drugs
- HCS 423 Theories of Addiction and Behavioral Health
- HCS 424 Counseling Diverse Populations*
*denotes courses that meet both minor and general education requirements
Elective Courses (9 credits)
