Business (MBA)

Description

The Master of Business Administration is a 36-credit, fully AACSB-accredited online program allowing for a valuable return on your educational investment. AACSB represents the highest standard in global business education. Our fully online MBA offers exceptional flexibility in course selections and graduation timeline, allowing you to tailor the program to your schedule. You have the freedom to complete the curriculum at your own pace.

Students have the opportunity to undertake a capstone project that offers hands-on experience directly relevant to their career aspirations. Collaborating with a host organization, often their current employer, students identify and analyze an organizational challenge and develop effective solutions. Throughout this process, a dedicated faculty advisor will support you from project inception to successful completion.

Admission to the Program

Students must have a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from a regionally-accredited college or university. International students with degrees issued outside the U.S. must meet the standards for a U.S. baccalaureate degree. Students who are admitted without the necessary academic preparation may be admitted conditionally and required to complete a configuration of undergraduate courses or other preparatory courses before beginning the graduate program.

Applicants must submit a completed application. Criteria and procedures for application require submission or evidence of the following:

  • Official transcripts of all prior undergraduate and graduate work, documenting receipt of a bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited four-year college or university as noted above with a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Exceptions are considered for GPA requirements and granted on an individual basis based on the materials submitted by the applicant. The baccalaureate degree must reflect at least 120 credits.
  • A personal statement of educational objectives. For applicants with a lower GPA or gaps in work experience, this provides an opportunity to offer explanations if needed.
  • Resume. Please clearly state your academic history, professional experience, and any noticeable accomplishments in your resume to support your qualification.
  • One letter of recommendation from a person in a position to assess the applicant’s aptitude for graduate study.

Applications are evaluated in the context of the applicant’s interest and likelihood of success in completing the degree. An interview may be required before an admission decision.

For further information about the application process, contact the Center for Graduate Studies.
