Bio

Dr. Ya-Ling Chen is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Administration at SUNY Brockport. She earned her Ph.D. in Recreation, Parks, and Tourism Studies from Indiana University Bloomington, with a specialization in tourism and hospitality management. Her research explores tourist experience, sustainable tourism, green hospitality, agritourism, and visitor experiences, with publications in leading journals such as the International Journal of Hospitality Management and Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Management. She is an active member of ICHRIE and other professional organizations, and has been recognized with multiple awards for teaching excellence, research contributions, and professional service.
