Cybersecurity Minor

Description

Cybersecurity is the study of the creation, operation, analysis and testing of secure computer systems, networks, and online data from attack and compromise by integrating knowledge from the fields of Information Systems, Computer Science, and Criminal Justice.

The Cybersecurity minor provides students with an overview of the fundamental concepts of the discipline.

Admission to the Program

Any undergraduate student can declare this minor.

Program Requirements

  • The minor consists of 18 credits.
  • At least 9 credits must be taken at SUNY Brockport.
  • The prerequisite course is CSC 120
