Description
The Digital Marketing Minor provides students with essential skills and knowledge in the rapidly evolving field of digital marketing. The curriculum covers various aspects of digital marketing, such as social media, search engine optimization (SEO), content marketing, email marketing, and analytics. Students will learn how to leverage digital channels to reach and engage target audiences effectively. Digital marketing skills are transferable and applicable to a wide range of career paths, from marketing to entrepreneurship and even nonprofit organizations.
The Digital Marketing Minor will be an excellent choice for various non-business majors, including Art, Education, Journalism, Communications, Sport Management, Public Health, Computer Science, Dance, and many others. Declared majors in other business disciplines, including Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, and International Business, are also eligible.
Admission to the Program
A student must have an overall average GPA of 2.5 or higher.
Program Requirements
The minor must be completed with an overall GPA of 2.0 or higher in all courses taken at SUNY Brockport. At least 9 of the 18 credits for the minor must be completed at SUNY Brockport.
