Description
The Entrepreneurship and Innovation Minor provides you with the knowledge and tools needed to develop, launch, and grow new ventures by identifying opportunities and turning ideas into viable business solutions. You will learn essential skills such as business planning, financial management, marketing, and leadership, while cultivating creativity and innovation - valuable assets in any career. Whether you aim to start your own business or enhance an existing organization with entrepreneurial skills, this minor complements your major and enhances your versatility.
The Entrepreneurship and Innovation Minor is designed for students in any major with entrepreneurial aspirations. Declared majors in other business disciplines, including Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, International Business, and Marketing are also eligible.
Admission to the Program
A student must have an overall average GPA of 2.5 or higher.
Program Requirements
The minor must be completed with an overall GPA of 2.0 or higher in all courses taken at SUNY Brockport. At least 9 of the 18 credits for the minor must be completed at SUNY Brockport.
