Bio

Dr. Halligan-Avery worked in Higher Education, Student Affairs for 18 years, always in roles supporting students of concern. In one of those roles, Erin experienced a significant increase in student concern referrals and sought to develop a user-intuitive resource directory called ConcernCenter. The creation of that platform turned into a full time business within just a few years and Erin left Higher Education to dedicate herself to that work full time. A few years and 3.5 million people-supported, later Erin has now entrusted her business to her small, but mighty team of professionals and is rejoining the field of Higher Education, this time as a professor in Public Administration, Nonprofit Management track, in hopes of positively impacting nonprofit leadership and governance in Rochester, New York.
