The search for SUNY Brockport’s next president is being led by Scott Turner, chair of both the SUNY Brockport College Council and the Presidential Search Committee, with the support of WittKieffer — a national executive search firm. The search will be thorough and vigorous, ensuring that SUNY Brockport’s next president will be a strong fit for the institution.
The search for SUNY Brockport’s next President follows President Heidi Macpherson’s decision to retire in the summer of 2026. President Macpherson has led the SUNY Brockport community with distinction for 10+ years and has led the University’s post-pandemic resurgence, which has included a 23% growth in total enrollment since 2022.
