IT Service Desk

The IT Service Desk is the single point of contact for initiating service requests and reporting problems with technology. It is staffed by professional staff and well-trained student employees.

The Service Desk is able to resolve most computing issues over the phone or via remote connection.

You can reach us:

  • by phone, (585) 395-5151
  • by a remote session directly to your computer
  • by an in-person visit to the walk-up support desk in Drake Memorial Library
  • through our self-service portal

Using the IT Service Desk Portal

Submit a Ticket or Project Request from IT

You can use the IT Self-Service Portal to:

  • look for instructions
  • place a ticket
  • check the status/update your tickets
  • see announcements about upcoming maintenance and outages

Report Phishing

The first line of defense against Phishing attacks is you! In an effort to quickly address and reduce the impact that these Phishing Scams have on our community, Information Technology has created a simple 3 step process for you to report these Phishing email messages.

  1. Receive a Phishing email or suspected email
  2. Use the “Report Message” option in your email to report it as phishing or forward the message to ReportPhish@brockport.edu
  3. You may receive a ticket notification if the reported message needs further investigation.

  • Faculty/Staff computer support: The IT Service Desk is the single point of contact for initiating service requests and reporting problems with technology.
  • Technology Procurement: In order to ensure that technology purchased by SUNY Brockport is cost-effective, complies with our technical requirements and is properly set up for our environment, we help facilitate the technology procurement process.
