Outdoor Recreation & Parks
Walk, bike, or boat along the scenic Erie Canal pathway, rent a kayak from the Brockport Welcome Center to explore the canal directly on the water, or cast a line and enjoy some scenic fishing.
Corbett Park features tennis courts, basketball courts, a playground, and walking trails that connect to the Erie Canalway Trail.
Sweden Town Park features a skate park, a disc golf course, playgrounds, multiple open sports fields (soccer, lacrosse, football, etc.), a dog park, and trails for hiking and walking.
Northampton Park is a 973-acre park featuring an enclosed ski lodge, areas for camping, open skiing, and plenty of trails for hiking.
The Brockport Central School District offers a scenic walk, tennis and basketball courts, multiple baseball fields, and a running track.
Arts, Culture & Hidden Gems
Located at 45 Main St, Lift Bridge Book Shop is a local staple offering both new and used books, gifts, book clubs, and literary events.
IBiB is a makerspace located at Hart Gallery 27. IBiB strives to empower community innovation and learning through accessible digital fabrication.
The Strand Theater has been a staple in the Village of Brockport for over a century. Opening in 1916, the Strand is the second oldest movie theater in the country that still shows newly released films upon their nationwide premiere.
The Morgan Manning House is a historic and cultural cornerstone of Brockport. While it was recently damaged by a fire, the Village is hopeful the building will be restored after overwhelming community support.
The Village of Brockport and Town of Sweden offer a handful of places to eat including coffee shops, diners, pubs, fast food, and more.

Located at 127 Main Street, Village Hall is the source for local governance, permits, and village updates.
From well-maintained parks and recreational facilities to a proactive town government, Sweden provides the essential infrastructure and support that helps our students thrive both in and out of the classroom.
The Seymour Library is a community cornerstone offering books, digital resources, programs for all ages, and free Wi-Fi.
Oak Orchard offers accessible medical, dental, and behavioral health services. Oak Orchard is a vital partner in promoting health equity and preventive care throughout the Brockport community.
Strong West offers emergency care, imaging, and specialty services, offering peace of mind to our campus community and their families.
The Canalfront Welcome Center offers amenities for boaters and visitors, including restrooms, showers, a place to camp, an EV charging station. You can also rent a kayak from the Welcome Center to enjoy your own waterfront excursion.
