Faculty-Student Engagement Award

This award recognizes faculty who have demonstrated ongoing exemplary engagement with undergraduate or graduate students in research, writing, conference presentation, and submission, publication, or product of scholarly or creative work. The award covers faculty engagement with individual or groups of students related to scholarly or creative work beyond instructional expectations.

Outstanding Academic Achievement Award

This award recognizes faculty or staff members who have provided outstanding academic advisement to their students.

Has your advisor helped you reach for the stars? Along the path to your academic goals, has there been one faculty or staff member who has given you outstanding advice? Has the advice influenced your outlook on a career path or your perspective on your involvement at Brockport? Is your advisor the “go-to person” for all things academic? Has your advisor helped you to gain information about or admission to graduate school? Have you observed a colleague going above and beyond in advising students?

Excellence in Experiential Learning Award

This award recognizes and celebrates faculty and staff who demonstrate outstanding commitment and innovation in facilitating experiential learning (EL) opportunities for students. EL pathways include Project-based Learning, Internships and Fieldwork, Research and Creative Works, Community-Engaged Learning, Leadership and Student Employment, and/or Study Abroad and Global Engagement. Overall, this award recognizes the vital role educators play in enhancing student engagement, fostering real-world skills, and promoting reflective practices through hands-on experiences.
