Holiday Guidelines

*Holiday falls on Saturday, accrue a day (based on work schedule).
*Holiday falls on Sunday, observed on Monday.

Essential Services (as determined by Department): Essential security and facilities operations will be maintained on holidays.

All offices will be open for normal business whenever classes are in session, as well as during mid-semester breaks. Supervisors are responsible for maintaining appropriate staffing.

UUP Employees with a teaching appointment are required to work on all days that classes are in session. They are not eligible to accrue holidays.
