About SUNY Brockport ID Cards

Your ID Card serves as your official university identification. Plus, you’ll use it as your dining card, library card, for access to resident halls, to buy books, to get into sporting events, and much, much more.

All SUNY Brockport students are required to have an ID card, including those enrolled exclusively in online learning.

Protect Your ID From Demagnetization

To keep your student ID working properly, avoid storing it near magnets, electronic devices (like phones or laptops), or magnetic clasps on wallets and purses. Heat, scratches, and bending can also damage the magnetic stripe.

For best results, keep your ID in a protective sleeve and store it in a separate pocket away from other cards or electronics.

Found an ID Card?

Found ID cards can be turned in to the Conrad Welcome Center during normal business hours. If after hours, ID cards can be turned in to University Police.

Note: Photos of found ID cards should not be posted to social media platforms as they contain sensitive information. More detailed information regarding this issue can be found in this cybersecurity article.
