Admission to pharmacy school

Our minor is an intentional collection of courses and experiences that many pharmacy schools recommend students take prior to entering the field. It is not intended to satisfy the list of prerequisite courses needed to apply to pharmacy school.

Typical median cumulative GPA’s for entering classes are 3.3-3.5, Students whose academic records fall significantly below the averages are less likely to be accepted. Many schools require that no prerequisite grade be below a C to qualify for admission.

Early Acceptance Program (LECOM)

SUNY Brockport has partnered with Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) to offer an Early Acceptance Program. This program allows Brockport students to secure a spot in LECOM’s Pharmacy School up to three years earlier than the standard application timeline.
