For the 2025–2026 academic year, we are pleased to provide convenient suite shower cleaning for the following residence halls: Gordon Hall, Harmon Hall, Benedict Hall, Dobson Hall, Mortimer Hall, Bramley Hall, Briggs Hall, and Perry Hall.
All suites in these buildings are automatically enrolled in the program. If a suite wishes to opt out of the cleaning service, one student from that suite should email housing@brockport.edu to make the request.
To ensure your shower can be cleaned:
All items must be removed from the shower before your scheduled cleaning time.
If the shower is not completely empty when the cleaning staff arrives, they will make note of it and skip cleaning for that week.
Cleaning Schedule for Spring 2026
Cleaning will begin the week of February 2, 2026.
Service will rotate on a bi-weekly schedule.
The cleaning schedule will occur by building between the hours of 10am-3pm.

Unfortunately, at this time we cannot change your suite’s assigned day or time.
The cleaning will take place every other week (bi-weekly) on your assigned day and time.
No, the cleaning staff will skip your cleaning if it falls on a Holiday or Break.
If you wish to skip a week, use the designated door tag provided in your suite. Place it outside your door the evening before your scheduled cleaning.
All SUNY Brockport staff and personnel are mandated reporters. If cleaners see anything that violates the Housing License or Local, State, or Federal law, they are required to report it.
Yes, cleaners will enter and complete the bathroom cleaning even if no one is present in the suite.
Yes, you are welcome to remain in your suite while the cleaners are working.
