Call for FLC Members: Connecting People & Projects for Enhancing Grantsmanship

CELT is excited to establish a Faculty Learning Community (FLC) inspired by the Enabling Partnerships to Increase Innovative Capacity (EPIIC) initiative of the NSF.

Connecting People and Projects for Enhancing Grantsmanship

Are you interested in scholarly collaboration but haven’t yet found the right partner? Would you like to work with regional community organizations but aren’t sure where to begin? Are you seeking new ways to secure external funding or create richer learning experiences for your students?

This FLC will be facilitated by Dr. Jose Maliekel & Dr. Laurie Cook from the second week through the seventh week of classes on the following days from noon to 1 pm in FBW 202:

  • February 5, 12, 19, 26
  • March 5, 12

In Spring 2026, the FLC will:

  • Spark conversations and foster innovative collaborations.
  • Build dynamic, interdisciplinary faculty teams and align them with active and emerging funding opportunities.
  • Create a clear, actionable roadmap for enhancing grantsmanship, supported by hands-on pre-proposal guidance from the EPIIC Co-PIs.
  • Provide tailored mentorship through coaching and support at every stage of grant submission.
