Bio

Shari graduated from SUNY Brockport in 2003 with a degree in Computer Science and went on to earn her Master of Education from Roberts Wesleyan in 2007.

Her professional experience spans both classroom teaching and instructional technology, supporting students and faculty across Monroe 2 BOCES and its districts, including Spencerport, Hilton, and Kendall. After her time in Kendall, Shari briefly stepped into a technology role with Apple as an At Home Advisor, where she soon realized how much she missed working directly in educational technology.

Shari returned to SUNY Brockport in 2015, joining BITS as part of the Academic Technology Support team at the MetroCenter. In 2017, she transitioned to the main campus to support online learning and course design within the learning management system as part of the Academic Services and Instructional Support team. Today, she serves as the Coordinator of Educational Technology for Online Learning with the Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching, where she is committed to advancing effective teaching and learning for both faculty and students.
